A Lansford woman was cited after she stopped her car in the middle of Route 93 to make a phone call.

Nesquehoning police said Corinne Virno of West Abbott Street, was driving south on Route 93 just after 3 p.m. on Nov. 11 when she stopped in the middle of the roadway to make a phone call so she wouldn’t lose cell service.

She was cited for impeding the movement of traffic.
