Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:
• The retirement of co-director of business affairs Rhonda Frantz, effective Dec. 31, after 38.75 years of service.
Superintendent Matthew J. Link congratulated Frantz on her retirement.
“She has been just an integral part of the leadership team here at the school district, and I’m just happy that we have her through December and we will acknowledge her much more closer to that time,” Link said. “But this evening, I would like to congratulate her on announcing her retirement.”
Board President Gary Fedorcha echoed those sentiments.
“I wish her a lot of luck and health in doing that; she will be missed,” Fedorcha said. “We really have a gem here in our offices; no one’s irreplaceable, but some people are going to be harder to replace than others, and I think Rhonda is going to be one of those.”
