March 5, 2011 - Three Times News area wrestlers earn Regional championships at the Southeast Class 2A Regional tournament. Northern Lehigh’s Zane Heller and Colin Hedash both gain titles, as does Tamaqua’s Garth Lakitsky. Heller (in photo above) rolls to a 16-3 major decision over Becahi’s Jaydon Rice in the finals at 125 pounds, while Hedash edges Trinity’s Adam Geiger by a 4-2 count in their 171-pound title match. Lakitsky takes care of Wymissing’s Tyler Rank with a 12-3 major in the 215-pound finals. Lehighton’s Anthony Farole (140) and Northwestern’s Bobby Clymer (152) also earn third-place medals to advance to states.
