Sam Vinc of Brockton recently had a strong showing in the Under Armour Winter Junior Golf National Championships in Bradenton, Florida.

Competing in the 6-9-year-old age group, Vinc finished in seventh place out of 54 golfers. He was named an Under Armour All American for placing in the top 8.

Vinc had a 2-under-par 70 on the IMG Golf Club Course, firing a 32 on the front nine and a 38 on the back.
