Brian Douglas Nattress, 44, of Tamaqua, has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, DUI of 0.16 or higher and endangering the welfare of a child.

On Jan. 7 at 9:06 p.m. police responded to a crash along North Railroad Street. Nattress and a female had left the scene prior to the arrival of police. They were later located and Nattress was taken to St. Luke’s Miners Hospital-Coaldale, for a blood test. The test results revealed a 0.23 BAC.
