Robyn Plesniarski of Andreas, a 19-year-old Northampton Community College student, walked off with the 1992 Miss Carbon County title and over $700 worth of cash prizes and gifts Sunday during the annual pageant at Panther Valley High School.

She was crowned by 1991 Miss Carbon County Shari Kenlin of Nesquehoning.

Plesniarski told the audience she has two goals in life. One will be realized when she receives an associate degree from NCCC and begins working Sept. 8 as a radiographer at the Palmerton Hospital, and the other is to earn a master’s degree in radiology at Bloomsburg University.

She is a daughter of Daniel and Rosemary Plesniarski.
