Five of Smith’s points in the final frame come at the free throw line, as the Olympians convert on 16 of them in that last period. For the game, Thorpe finishes 26-of-38 at the stripe. Dennis Luckenbill contributes 15 points to the win, while Brian Dyer adds 14. The Olympians, coached by Dan Novey, also receive 11 points from Jim Carrigan.
