The Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill is offering the following programs:
• Yoga with Lori, Wednesday at noon: Yoga instructor Lori Wolfe offers a class suitable for all levels of ability. Alleviate stress, quiet your mind, and develop inner harmony by reconnecting with the natural world through yoga.
• Turtles with Jeannie: Saturday at 10 a.m.
Meet CCEEC’s live turtles, learn to identify local species, dispel myths and misconceptions.
• Creepy Crawlers: Monthly programs for ages 2-4, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m., topic is Anything you can do, I can do better! - open to all 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds and their families.
Each meeting focuses on some aspect of the natural world.
• Pennsylvania Bobcats: Feb. 25 at 2 p.m., retired game officer Fred Merluzzi offers a peek into the world of Pennsylvania’s only native wild cat. Suitable for all ages. Teachers welcome to sign in from classrooms.
