Faith Alive Church
Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. At 9 a.m. is traditional service and 10:30 a.m. is a contemporary service.
Four options of worship: in the sanctuary, in Leah’s Room (masks required), in the parking lot (FM 104.3), or Faith Alive-Facebook Live. On Feb. 7 is Holy Communion. In the event of inclement weather, the delays or cancellations will appear on Channel 69 News WFMZ.
Lent starts Feb. 17 with Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m.
Men’s Bible study is held each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Adult Bible study is held each Thursday at 2 p.m.
The Youth Group, “Impact” will meet Feb. 7 and 21.
New Bible study with DVD, “Anxious for Nothing!” is planned. Sign up now and the studies will begin starting Feb. 24 at 12:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
The ABC Food Pantry is collecting canned goods to stock up the pantry for needy people in the community.
The Mission for February is Red Bird Missionary Conference. It provides education and Christian evangelism ministries and community outreach.

Cookie sale
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton is baking molasses tongue cookies. Orders are due by Feb. 5. Call the church at 610-826-2524 to place your order.
Pickup date is Feb. 10 from noon to 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Jerusalem UCC
Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) holds worship service on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Through the end of March, services will be held in the church sanctuary with limited seating. Social distancing and masks are required. Supply Pastor Don Quayle will lead the worship.
You may also remain in your vehicle in the church parking lot and listen to the service on radio station 95.5 FM. The service will also continue to be livestreamed on Facebook at 10:30 a.m.
The service will be recorded for viewing at any time at your convenience on Facebook or the church website. Feb. 7 is Holy Communion.
Please bring your own elements as none will be provided.

Living Hope Lighthouse Church
Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton, holds Sunday Worship service at 10 a.m. Masks are required and as people enter, they should observe social distancing.
The 2021 Soup-er Bowl soup collection is underway. Bring in some canned soups as well as crackers and put them on the table in the back of the sanctuary or on Pastor Chris’ front porch.
They will be collecting these items through Feb. 14 and then they will be given to the Palmerton food pantry for distribution to families in need.
Card shower
Nicholas Teichert, a Palmerton resident, was involved in an automobile accident. He is recovering at St. Luke’s. A card shower would help brighten his spirits.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville) is holding its Sunday worship services in the church parking lot at 10:15 p.m. due to the increase of COVID-19 cases.
