SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS, Pa. (AP) - An eastern Pennsylvania man has been jailed on a charge of criminal homicide after state police say he fatally shot his neighbor following a long-running property dispute.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 66-year-old Ronald Kozak, of West Mahanoy Township in Schuylkill (SKOO'-kil) County.
Police say Kozak shot 60-year-old Joseph Boris after an argument between the two about 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
State troopers from Frackville are calling the incident a "neighborly dispute that went terribly wrong."
Kozak was arraigned and jailed without bond Saturday night on criminal homicide and other charges.
Police say Kozak shot Boris in the chest, just outside the victim's home.
