Several Tamaqua area residents were cited following an incident in Lehighton. Borough police said the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Lehighton Middle School about 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9. Lehighton and Tamaqua football teams were playing that night nearby.

Police said Cassie Eroh, 19, of 417 Willing St., Tamaqua, and Brenna Kunkel, 18, of 72 Frankford, Ave., Tamaqua R.D, were cited for disorderly conduct. Devin Smith, 18, of 161 Skyline Drive, Tamaqua R.D., Lauren Androkitis, 18, of 220 Owl Creek Rd., Tamaqua, and Vanessa Wagener, 18, of 74 E. Main St., Quakake, were all cited for underage possession and/or consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
