Demolition began Monday on the 1940s-era Lazur Brothers Kaiser-Frazer dealership building at 1 Biddle St. in Tamaqua. The large concrete block structure is one of three adjoining parcels purchased in August by St. Luke’s University Health Network, reportedly to create parking for the network’s medical complex in downtown Tamaqua.
