State police at the Bethlehem barracks are investigating an armed robbery that happened at 10:54 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Square One store, 468 Nor Bath Boulevard, Allen Township.

Police said a white man, about 5 feet, 10 inches with a heavy build and a long gray beard, entered the store displaying a handgun and demanding money from the cashier. Police said he was wearing a tan jacket and gray sweatshirt and had a green bandana over his face.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in a gray or tan mid-sized vehicle, similar to a GMC Envoy or a Chevrolet Trailblazer, police said. He was last observed fleeing west towards Northampton Borough on Nor Bath Boulevard.
