Fern Ridge state police report on harassment, PFA

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents:

• Andrew Acevedo, 33, of Effort, is facing charges of harassment after police responded to a disturbance at 10 a.m. Dec. 11 on the 100 block of Arlene Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said a 49-year-old woman said he was harassing her throughout the day, including having urinated from his balcony onto the victim’s lower balcony when the victim was standing on it.

• The Brodheadsville Veterinary Clinic, 1799 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township, was cited after it had eight false alarms occur within a consecutive 12-month period, the latest reported at 6:09 a.m. Dec. 2.

• A person who has a Protection From Abuse order in Monroe County Court was found to be in contempt of the order when police were summoned to the intersection of Route 209 and Joy Glen in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said they were called there at 12:14 p.m. Dec. 14 and ended up filing an indirect criminal contempt charge against the defendant and mailing it to the county district attorney’s office.
