The Carbon County Vocational-Technical School Operating Committee held a reorganizational session last night, electing Louisa Steele of Lehighton as chairman of the board.

Steele was recently elected to her second term as president of the Lehighton Area School Board.

On the vocational-technical school committee, she succeeds Elmer Hinkle of Weatherly, who was named secretary of the committee.

Appointed vice president was a new member to the board, Larry Engle of Palmerton, while another new member, Thomas Shober of the Panther Valley School Board, was named treasurer.
