The Rev. Frank Spada was officially installed as pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Summit Hill during an installation service held there on Sunday afternoon.

Richard Davidyock, chairman of the church council, conducted the special afternoon worship service along with the Rev. William Wartluff, pastor of Emmanuel and English congregations in Lansford.

The Rev. and Mrs. Spada, the former Maria Evota, came to Summit Hill from Flushing, New York. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Spada, retired to the Lehighton area seven years ago.

Spada is a graduate of the Princeton Theological Seminary, where his studies included positions in Lakewood, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
