A 2019 Isuzu box truck crashed and flipped onto its side in a crash that was investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

It happened at 4:16 a.m. Dec. 10 along Interchange Road in Polk Township.

Police said the driver was northbound and lost control of the vehicle. The truck flipped onto its side and slid off the roadway, traveling into the front yard of a property.

Police said the vehicle was flipped back to an upright position by a local towing service and was driven from the scene, having sustained nondisabling damages. The driver was not injured.
