Students of Commonwealth Connections Academy recently received an education in dog care when they visited the Carbon County Animal Shelter in Nesquehoning.
The students got to ask Tom Connors, director of the shelter, about proper animal care and brought along donations of cleaning supplies and dog treats.The Carbon County Animal Shelter currently has nine dogs up for adoption and is open to the public and to school field trips seven days a week.
