The Men of Marian elected Joseph L. Boyle of Jim Thorpe as its president for the next year during a meeting held this week.

Other officers for 1965 will be Lawrence Furey, Lansford, first vice president; Thomas Skrabak, Lansford, second vice president; Robert Marzen, Jim Thorpe, third vice president; Paul L. Curran, McAdoo, secretary; and Joseph Friel, Lansford, treasurer.

The group plans to form an executive committee consisting of two laymen from each parish served by Marian High School.

The Rev. Frederick A. Winkler, principal, addressed the group and reported on progress being made on the high school athletic field being constructed to the rear of the school in Hometown.
