The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/load accounts.

Midland Funding, Philadelphia, filed the following actions: Megan Davis, 210 W. High St., Nesquehoning, seeking $2,675.20; and Antonio Borges, 62 Mountain Road, Albrightsville, seeking $1,476.50.

Cavalry SPV I, Mount Laurel, New Jersey, filed the following actions: Rob R. Frisch, 149 Snyder Lane, Lehighton, seeking $1,255.44; and Brian M. Sullivan, 1489 Main Road, Lehighton, seeking $2,921.93.

TD Bank, Canonsburg, filed the following actions: Lisa A. Honey, 1548 Smithlane Road, Lehighton, seeking $1,873.47; Herbert W. Green III, 11 Matthew Lane, Kunkletown, seeking $2,508.56; and Makayla M. Foster, 415 Pohopoco Drive, Lehighton, seeking $911.27.

Unifund CCP, Cincinnati, Ohio, filed against Barry L. Steigerwalt, 417 N. Fourth St., Lehighton, seeking $1,268.60.

Citibank, Fort Washington, filed the following actions: Tamia Mays, 22 Jane Court, Albrightsville, seeking $1,986.62; and Jessica Gasper, 615 Mahoning St., Lehighton, seeking $13,440.12.

Loan default

One Main Financial Group., Evansville, Indiana, filed against George T. Bottomley, 234½ N. Third St., Lehighton, alleging he defaulted on a loan agreement. Sought is 12,499.64 plus interest, costs and fees.

Fall suit

Bernardine Daddario, 128 W. Hazard St., Summit Hill, filed a civil action seeking damages against Grace Riggio, Joseph Riggio and Angelo L. Riggio, all of 85 James Lane, Lehighton.

The suit states on Oct. 28, 2018, the plaintiff was a business invitee at 85 James Lane, Lehighton, and was lawfully walking on a ramp of the property. The suit alleges the ramp was in poor condition and was improperly constructed which resulted her to fall on the ramp, sustaining serious injuries detailed in the suit.

Negligence is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000

Slip, fall suit

Yunkin Fu, 20 Boice Lane, Belmead, New Jersey, filed a civil action against JFBB Ski Areas Inc., 434 Jack Frost Mountain Road, White Haven, seeking damages.

The suit states on Feb. 18, 2019, the plaintiff was a business invitee at the defendants’ property located at 434 Jack Frost Mountain Road, when Fu was caused to slip, trip and fall on an accumulation of ice covering a parking lot, causing injuries detailed in the suit.

Sought are damages in excess of $50,000.

Loan default

Ford Motor Credit Company, c/o 1060 Andrew Drive, West Chester, filed a civil action against Matthew Brooks, 9921 Edgemont Ave., Palmerton, alleging he defaulted on an automobile loan. Sought is $9,340.92 plus interest, costs and fees.

Mortgage foreclosure

The following action was filed as a mortgage foreclosure for alleged default on a loan.

Hyland Drive, New Ringgold; and Jillian Shellhamer, 110 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; over property at 29 W. White Bear Drive. Sought is $179,045.78 and continuing interest.

Judgment entered

Majestic Fire Apparel, Box 248, 255 Wagner St., Lehighton, entered a judgment against Nicholas Thorpe, 431 W. Patterson St., Lansford, for $4,967.35.
