Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and/or dessert to share, also items for the cake walks, and Chinese auction.Park concertIt's that time again for Palmerton's Sunday night Concerts in the Park. The Palmerton Band will kick of the season with a concert on Sunday. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are held at the bandstand in the Borough Park. This week's concert is sponsored by the Bandstand Committee of the Concourse Club.Bring a lawn chair. The committee reserves the right to cancel for inclement weather.Knitting ClubThe Knitting Club will meet from 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 5 at the Palmerton Area Library. This club is free and open to anyone interested in knitting and crocheting of all skill levels. The club meets the first Monday of each month.Blue Mountain Fiber GuildThe Blue Mountain Fiber Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesdayat the Palmerton Area Library. This group explores all things related to fiber arts (spinning, weaving, etc.) The group meets the first Tuesday of each month.Pace-MakersThe Palmerton Pace-Makers Association will hold a Cruise Night in the Palmerton Borough Park from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
