November 17, 1975 - Lehighton captures the Centennial League junior varsity championship by gaining an 8-6 victory over Slatington. The Indians trail at halftime but tie the game early in the third quarter on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Randy Fritz to Scott Kocher. Kevin Snyder follows with a two-point conversion to give Lehighton a lead it would not relinquish. The victory allows the team to finish its season with an 8-2 record, including a league-best mark of 5-1.
