Class gatherings

Members of the 1967 class of Jim Thorpe High School and their spouses will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Monday at the Boulevard Restaurant in Lehighton.The Jim Thorpe class of 1964 will meet at the Palmerton Hotel at 11

a.m.July 21. Lunch will be served at noon, to enable members of the class to view the "Moving Vietnam Wall" that will be displayed in the Palmerton Park.Members attending are reminded to wear as much blue as they can for the class photo.The Jim Thorpe Class of 1965 will also meet in Palmerton next week for its luncheon at noon July 22 at Papa Al's, 315, Lehigh Ave. Following the lunch, they will also view the "Moving Vietnam Wall."Vacation Bible SchoolSt. Paul's Lutheran Church, Old Stage Road, Albrightsville, will hold Vacation Bible School from 9:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 1-5 at the church. The program, "Dive in the Deep Sea," is open to children preschool through sixth grades. There will be Bible stories, music, crafts and more.
