More than 7,000 PPL customers were without power Sunday night, including 994 in West Penn Township as of 8 p.m.

Carbon County had 738 without power, including 349 in East Penn Township, 123 in Lower Towamensing, 16 in Kidder and one in Lehigh Township.

In Lehigh County, 1,724 were without electricity.

In Monroe County, 803 people were out in Chestnuthill Township, 294 in Polk Township and 19 in Eldred Township.
