Eight Oaks is excited to add Greenhouse Bitters to their farm-to-bottle lineup.
For the fall, Eight Oaks released Aromatic Bitters, which have nice allspice and anise flavors, with a woody finish and hints of orange.
In spring 2021, Eight Oaks will add Citrus Bitters.
According to Co-Founder and General Manager Carly Butters, “These bitters were the idea of our Farm Distillery & Kitchen Manager, Tessa Koss, or Mama T as we like to call her. These bitters are locally sourced and made; they are an important addition to our spirits line up.”
Butters added, “Over the years, Mama T always used bitters in the cocktails she made at the Farm Distillery & Kitchen. Eventually, she thought, why not create our own line?!”
All bitters are made with alcohol, herbs, spices, and sometimes fruit peels, and are perfect for whiskey cocktails, used only a dash or so at a time to add some bold, condensed flavors.
They are perfect in an old fashioned or mint julep.
Bitters are available now at the Farm Distillery & Kitchen in New Tripoli, and you can find them at local markets including Allentown, Broad Street, and Reading Terminal Market, with online ordering coming soon.
The bitters sell for $14.99 for a 100ML bottle.
