October 30, 1964 - Lehighton uses a pair of first-half touchdowns to gain a 12-7 Lehigh Valley League victory over Northampton. The Indians grab a lead on the first play of the game as Gene Semanoff takes the opening kickoff and returns it 85 yards for a touchdown. The winners tack on another score in the second quarter after Semanoff recovers a Konkrete Kid fumble. Jake Boyer crashes in from a yard out for what proves to be the deciding score. Lehighton’s defense limits its opponent to just 105 yards of offense.
