No injuries were reported in a two-car crash that occurred this morning in Palmerton.
Palmerton patrolman Michael Fedor said the wreck took place at 7:20 a.m. as Dean Knittle, 45, of Slatington, attempted to make a left-hand turn from Route 248 onto Mauch Chunk Road.At that time, Knittle's 1998 Dodge Dakota turned into the path of a 2010 Hyundai Accent driven by Joshua Gibbs, 25, of Lehighton, who was traveling west on Delaware Avenue to enter Route 248.Fedor said Gibbs' vehicle sustained moderate to heavy front-end damage, while Knittle's vehicle was drivable.
