Lansford Police are reminding the public to be on the lookout after a recent string of thefts from vehicles.

According to police, there have been about 10 recent incidents reported where cars were entered. The incidents weren’t concentrated to one area of the borough.

In a few cases, there was an attempt to steal the car.

In each case, the victims had left their car doors unlocked.

Drivers are reminded to lock their vehicles, keep porch lights on, and to keep valuables out of sight in their vehicles.

They’re also asking anyone with a surveillance camera to review their footage and see if there is anything that may assist in the investigation.
