One male driver was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash in Rush Township.
The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. as he was traveling west on Tuscarora Park Road. He lost control going around a curve in the roadway, went off the road and hit a set of guide rails.
The victim was extricated from the wreckage by members of the Tamaqua Rescue Squad and Hometown firefighters.
The man was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance before being transported to a hospital. Hometown fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. Rush Township Police are investigating the incident.
