Road work
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:
Carbon County
• Lower Towamensing/Palmerton, Hahn’s Dairy Road/Fireline Road crack sealing between Little Gap Road and White Street, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
• Weatherly/Lausanne, Buck Mountain Road crack sealing between Quakake Road and Laury Town Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
• Franklin/Penn Forest, Maury Road crack sealing between Long Run Road and Route 903, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
• Penn Forest/Kidder Township, Route 903/Highway to Adventure lane restrictions between Maury Road and Monroe County Line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Lehigh County
• Lower Macungie Township, Hamilton Blvd. crack sealing between Route 222 and Interstate 78, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
• Various municipalities, Route 22 shoulder restriction between I-78 and Northampton County Line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
• North Whitehall Township, Route 873 paving between Route 309 and William Penn Drive, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Monroe County
• Stroud/Tobyhanna, I-80 East and West mowing interchanges between mile marker 302 and 284, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
• Various municipalities, Route 402 pothole patching between Route 209 and county line, 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Northampton County
• Lower Saucon, City of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Williams Township: I-78 East pothole patching between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 67 (Route 412), 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
• Lower Saucon, City of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Williams Township: I-78 East pothole patching between Exit 60 (Route 309) and Exit 71 (Route 33), 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday.
• Lower Saucon, City of Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Williams Township: I-78 East pothole patching between Exit 71 (Route 33) and Exit 75 (Route 611), 9 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
