State police at Schuylkill Haven reported two people who were involved in a high speed pursuit on Sept. 16 and eventually taken into custody were found to also have been involved in a burglary at a residence along Summer Valley Road in West Brunswick Township.
Troopers said Damar Coad, 19, of Reading, and John Fidanqui-Marten, 18, of Manhattan, New York, who were involved in the pursuit, have been accused of gaining access to a wine cellar in a residence that was a separate structure to the rear of the property, behind the residence.
The two hid in the cellar, damaged some property in the cellar and took two soft drinks and a case of soft drinks.
The two then proceeded to damage the residence, damaged a window, stole a pair of Reebok shoes and generic brand UGG boots, then fled the property.
When the two were arrested following the pursuit they were wearing the shoes that were reported stolen.
