Visitors to the annual Shower of Roses reach up to the skies in hopes of catching one of the hundreds of roses dropped over the community of New Columbus on Sunday evening. The event is held at the Shrine to St. Therese, formerly Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, on the first Sunday in October.
