Richard H. Roberts, 66, of Slatington, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle crash at 8:33 a.m. Dec. 30 on Route 4024 (Mosserville Road) in Lynn Township, according to state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said he was driving a 2014 Jeep Latitude southbound when he was unable to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with King’s Highway.

The Jeep proceeded into the intersection and struck a 2016 Jeep Compass operated east on King’s Highway by Ashley N. Henritzy, 20, of New Tripoli.

After the impact, Henritzy’s vehicle struck guide rails on both sides of King’s Highway.

Police were assisted at the scene by the New Tripoli Fire Police and Stew’s Towing.
