State police at Lehighton are investigating a crash which occurred Sunday morning in Towamensing township.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. in front of 1390 Koch Road involving a FedEx delivery truck and a Cadillac sedan. One person was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance before being transported to a nearby hospital.

The Polk and Towamensing township fire companies responded to the scene.
