This annual Weissport community yard sale will take place this weekend on Saturday at the Weissport park.

The yard sale has become a staple of the borough over the past few years.

“The idea for the yard sale originally was to raise money,” said council member Linda Schoenberger.

Schoenberger said 140 vendors were committed to the event.

For those who are interested in becoming a vendor for the event the cost to join the event is $5 a table.

The setup for the event begins at 7 a.m. and the event will officially start at 9 a.m. and continue to 3 p.m.

A food truck will also be provided by the Weissport borough. The rain date is Sunday.
