The holiday season kicked off in Lansford on Saturday with classic coach rides of Crystal View Carriage Service of New Ringgold, part of a full slate of activities during Lansford Alive's Christmas in the Park.
More than 250 turned out at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park for a night of music, food and camaraderie.
Holiday tunes by the Panther Valley High School Band, directed by Mark Christ, and vocal selections by hometown favorite Angela Marie Nardini helped to usher in the yuletide season.
Master of Ceremonies was Martin Ditsky, president, Lansford Borough Council.
Karen O'Toole of WMGH Radio announced that Brenna McAndrew of Summit Hill was selected Little Miss Snowflake.
