An arrest warrant has been issued for a Schuylkill County man for assault.

State police at Frackville said on Sept. 4 at 8:53 p.m. at a residence along Valley Street in New Philadelphia, Cody Adams, 30, and a 34-year-old man, both from New Philadelphia, had an argument. Adams attacked the victim and started punching him, knocking him to the floor. Adams then struck the victim with a glass bowl while he was lying on his back, causing a cut to his left elbow.

Adams then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East-Pottsville, where he was treated in the emergency room. Troopers ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adams to call 9-1-1.
