Tamaqua Area School district is the first school in the area to call for an early dismissal. We will update the story if any other school change their schedules for today.

Northwestern Lehigh has also announced an early dismissal. The high school and middle school will be dismissing at 11:00 a.m. and the elementary school will be letting out at 12:15 p.m.

Northern Lehigh announced a 1:00 p.m. closing for the high school and middle school and all after school activities postponed.

Panther Valley, Palmerton, and Lehighton School Districts announced am early dismissal and cancelation of afternoon activities.

Marian Catholic has also postponed all after school activities for today.
