State police at Schuylkill Haven made the following arrests recently.

• A traffic stop in Schuylkill County has led to pending charges against the driver.

Troopers made a traffic stop at 12:22 a.m. on Aug. 8 along Peach Mountain Road in Norwegian Township on a 2004 Audi A8 after troopers ran a check on the registration plate and learned the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Ashland.

The driver was identified as Skyler Ruskuski, 20, of Ashland.

While speaking with Ruskuski, troopers detected that the driver was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, for a blood draw.

• A traffic stop was made on Aug. 17 at 7:09 p.m. in the 1400 block of Route 61 in North Manheim Township, for a traffic violation.

At the stop the driver, Tyler Soldridge, 31, of Danielsville, Northampton County, was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
