Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, recently announced and presented scholarships during their outdoor worship service to students enrolled in colleges, universities and schools of higher learning. Some of the students listed received more than one scholarship/grant according to their major.

These recipients are: Jordan Behrens, Caine Carpenter, Mikayla Dolsay, Chelsea Eckhart, Seth Gower, Paige Gruber, Lucas Hoffner, Mitchell Hourt, Elise Johnston, Grainne Kelly, Tinaya Klotz, Alayna Krause, Jewel Kravetz, Katarina Kunkle, Grace Lorenz, Jackson Schaeffer, Alex Schwab, Baylee Strausberger and Kayla Stubits.

Two seminarians were awarded scholarships toward their postgraduate studies.

In addition, three scholarships were given to students enrolled in Jack and Jill Preschool.

A total of $11,158 was awarded this year.
