The Radio Shack store in front of the Carbon Plaza Mall in Mahoning Township is closed.

For the past several months store employees have insisted the store will remain open as a Radio Shack clearance center.

The store was on the list of closures as the chain struggled financially.

The lights are off in the store, the room sits empty and the door is locked.

A "for lease" sign adorns the front door.
