A theft at an auto repair shop in Franklin Township remains under investigation.

Township police officer Jason Doll said the incident occurred sometime overnight between Thursday and Friday at Frank’s Service Center, 640 Interchange Road, Lehighton.Police said it appeared someone broke into a caged-in area and stole a dirt bike.“As of right now, just looking into it, some possibilities, have to see it through,” Doll said.A separate theft occurred several weeks ago at the shop.“Similar circumstances,” he said. “We’re trying to figure out if they’re linked, and actively looking into it.”
