John Buday, 8th grade, Tamaqua, “I would like to be a MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter, or have my own Jujitsu school. I’ve been studying it for about two years. I would open the school right here in town.”
Josie Schickram, 7th grade, Tamaqua, “I want to be a nurse. I have just always felt that helping people is nice. My aunt is a nurse and that got me interested.”
Karlee Knox, 6th grade, Tamaqua, “I want to be a teacher. My mom is a teacher for special education and I want to do that. I went with her to work and that’s when I decided.”
Matthew Hedrick, 7th grade, Tamaqua, “I want to be in the military. My cousin is in the Marines. I want to serve because I think it’s important to have a military that protects.”
Olivia Brown, 8th grade, Tamaqua, “I want to be a lawyer. I just always liked being the boss and taking charge. I would like to be a lawyer that specializes in family issues.”
