Schuylkill arrests
State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents.
• A Schuylkill County man is facing charges as the result of a domestic incident. Police at Frackville said about 9:30 a.m. on July 18 troopers responded to a residence along North Sheridan Street in McAdoo for a domestic dispute. Luis Jayna Perez, 32, of McAdoo, is harassed two women, ages 26 of McAdoo and 33 of Hazleton.
He was cited for two counts of harassment - physical contact.
• A vehicle stop in Schuylkill County has led to drug charges against the driver.
Police said Gregory May, 54 of Williamstown, was stopped about 4 p.m. on July 20 along Route 61 at South Lehigh Avenue, in Ryan Township, for a traffic violation.
Troopers said he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana. Police said charges will be filed.
• On July 23, at 8:14 p.m., troopers received a report from the state correctional institution at Frackville, located along Altamont Boulevard, in Ryan Township, that a drone activation alarm occurred. The drone did not fly onto/over the property, but did get close enough to trigger the alarm. The drone was not observed by any perimeter guards. The surrounding area was searched and no suspicious people were found.
• Brian Monaghan, 58, of Pottsville, reported on July 14, that someone removed Komatsu wheeled loader from his business property, Carbonite Filters Corporation, located at 96 Hazle St., in Delano Township. The theft occurred sometime between July 9 and 14.
• Troopers said on July 24 at 2:55 p.m. a Girardville woman reported a theft incident involving a wallet at 133 C St. An investigation determined that Luckey dropped her wallet out of her vehicle and someone took the wallet and charged about $1,018.51 to her debit card.
• A 57-year-old woman from Barnesville, Ryan Township, reported she made a $650 credit card payment to Venmo to purchase a $1,000 gift card to an unidentified person she met on Facebook messenger. After the payment was made the victim did not receive her gift card.
