Route 443 in Mahoning Township was closed due to a crash Saturday afternoon. The crash occurred about 2:15 p.m. in the 3000 block. A driver of a pickup truck traveling east swerved to avoid a stopped delivery truck hit a utility pole and snapped it off. The pickup driver was treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
