A driver is custody after being involved in a hit and run crash in Franklin Township Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. when a car struck a pickup near the area of Route 209 and the turnpike entrance. The driver fled south on 209, turning into the parking lot of the Hampton Inn. He then drove north on Route 209, with the Franklin Township police pulling him over near the intersection with Red Hill Road. The driver was placed in handcuffs and taken into custody.
