Tams, Palmerton lose
The Tamaqua Blue Sox dropped two games over the weekend, while Palmerton’s Connie Mack squad also suffered a loss.

The Tamaqua Blue Sox were swept by the Post 625 Wildcats in a doubleheader Saturday in Schuylkill-Berks Independent League action.
The Wildcats rolled to a 13-2 victory in the first game, before rallying for a 7-4 win in the nightcap.
In the first game, Dalton Geiger hit two home runs and knocked in five for the winners.
For Tamaqua, Joey Minehan had two of his team’s three hits and scored a run. Mason Moyer chipped in with a hit and an RBI.
In the second game, the Blue Sox (1-6) held a 3-1 lead after scoring a pair of runs in the top of the third inning only to see Post 625 rally.
Minehan collected three hits and scored three runs for Tamaqua, with Moyer adding a hit, a run, and an RBI. Zach Fannock chipped in with a hit and an RBI.

Parkland-Palmerton
Palmerton dropped a 13-5 decision to the Parkland Snipers in a Connie Mack exhibition contest on Saturday.
Ty Sander had two hits and scored a run for Palmerton, who held a 4-3 lead after four innings of play, while Randan Solt contributed a hit and two runs scored.
The Blue Bombers also received a hit and an RBI from Luke Netznik, Trevor Stroup and Trey Sterling.
Parkland put the game out of reach in the sixth with an eight-run inning.
