Job hunting just got a little bit easier for the unemployed in Carbon County.
Career Link and Carbon County Economic Development have partnered to bring the Carbon County Job Fair to Carbon County, noted Garry Wentz, administrator of CareerLink.The Carbon County Job Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall.Wentz said that 25 employers, including KME Fire Apparatus, Precision Roll Grinders, Nestle-Purina Petcare, Nestle Private Fleet, Bayada Pediatrics, Pencor Services, Federal Bureau of Prisons, PA State Civil Service Commission, Express Employment Professionals, PA Army National Guard, Technical Process & Engineering, Inc, Youth Services Agency, Heritage Sign & Display, Express Employment Professionals, UDS Independent Living, Blue Mountain Health Systems, United States Army Recruiting, Highwood, Inc, McCann School of Business & Technology, VA Veterans Health Administration, United States Cold Storage, The Hershey Company, Split Rock Resort, Coordinated Health, Finishing Trades Institute, and Auto Zone, Inc, as well as, and nine community partners will be in attendance."We want everyone to know about this event, so that we can help employers find good employees and good employees find the right job," said Wentz.
