A Schuylkill County woman has been cited for passing a bad check.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Valerie A. Underkoffler, 46, of Pottsville, passed the check at BG's Market, located in Norwegian Township, on July 6 about 6:28 p.m.She was given numerous chances to make good on the check but did not, troopers said, and was then cited.
