A heat advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Monday. Heat index values will be up to 103 due to temperatures in the low to mid 90s, and dewpoints in the upper 60s lower 70s.

The highest heat index values will occur from the late morning into the early evening.

The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure.

The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids and stay in air conditioning if possible.

Temperatures will remain in the 90s through Tuesday and then drop to the high 80s.
